We just returned from the St.Jude Memphis Marathon- one of the most special races of the year and a great way to end our season. Roots run deep in Memphis for us. Not only did I meet my husband there I also attended UT. In addition, my husband was a patient at St.Jude and is a Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor of 27 years! I also worked at St.Jude as a graduate nurse.

Running the St.Jude Half has been one of the most touching and inspiring races I have ever been apart of. Running in honor of my husband and all the St.Jude children, I was moved to tears running past signs that said “you are running for my child, thank you” and even pictures of these beautiful children, some with their own signs saying “thank you for running for me”. Being a part of such an awesome charity event is what it is all about!

As always, at the expos, we meet lots of new customers, catch up with old friends and enjoy the energy that comes from being surrounded by so many people taking on the marathon challenge. Congratulations to all of you and thanks for your business – we had a one of our most successful events ever. It seems that we are producing jewelry designs and handbags that are hitting home for many – which is very rewarding.

Lastly, thanks for visiting our new web site – this is the first time we have had an online presence and we’re excited about the possibilities to reach more people – and for them to reach us. We think 2010 will be a great year and we hope it will be for you also!
